Braden Todd, a sixth-generation Boulderite, and second-generation glass artist, is the owner and creative force behind Glassmith2.

It all began when Braden’s grandfather, Wiley Smith, started working on the craft of glass etching by forming his business, The Glass-Smith. Braden grew up surrounded by beautiful etched glass artwork and he knew that art glass was an avenue that he wanted to pursue.

Glassmith2 was founded in 2002, when Braden decided to tackle his life-long goal of following in his grandfather’s footsteps by trying his hand at glass etching and carving.

Since returning to Boulder in 2008, Glassmith2 has rapidly grown and evolved into a successful awards and engraving business. Braden's roots as an artist make Glassmith2 stand out in the awards industry as the company that designs and produces one-of-a-kind awards that are true works of art.

"Braden and his team deliver the highest quality awards and unique items to us each week," said Dave Christen, IRONMAN Boulder Race Director. "Their creativity and their attention to detail is out of this world. If you give Glassmith2 an idea they will deliver at a high level; that is what we have come to expect from the team every time.

In 2015, after four years of designing and producing awards for IRONMAN events, Glassmith2 was designated the Official Awards Supplier for IRONMAN-North America.
